A brief introduction of YT Electric AHF and SVG assembly line

Let me give you an insightful introduction to the YT Electric production lines for Active Harmonic Filters (AHF) and Static Var Generators (SVG) which offers a comprehensive view of the entire manufacturing process from various angles.
The AHF operates based on a voltage-source inverter and utilizes an external current transformer to collect real-time current signals. The internal detection circuit isolates the harmonic components, while the IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) power converter generates a compensating current that matches the harmonic magnitude but is in the opposite phase, effectively filtering out harmonics from the system.
The SVG, also based on a voltage-source inverter, uses IGBT technology to control the magnitude and phase of the inverter’s AC voltage. This enables the compensation of both reactive power and harmonics. Due to the high switching frequency of the IGBT, the SVG can rapidly respond to fluctuating reactive loads, achieving exceptionally high compensation accuracy. The SVG is considered the optimal solution for reactive power control.
