2. The features of Hybrid Power Factor correction
(1) The two-pole coordinated optimal control strategy is based on capacitors and Static Var Generator ,which eliminates the Influence of different needs in response speed between the container and SVG in the same bus system ,improves the dynamics of the compensation system ,and also ensures the stability of the system closed-loop control.
(2) The harmonic-enhanced Static Var Generator can simultaneously filter out the 2~25th harmonics within the rated capacity.You can choose reactive power priority or harmonic priority mode to work.
(3) If use capacitors to compensate large capacity, the reactive power changes slowly. But, if SVG compensates small capacity, it will change quickly.
The Hybrid Power Factor Correction mode can compensate the reactive current of the system to close to zero, and the power factor close to 1 (≥0.98). And within the range of compensation capacity, there will be no over-compensation or under-compensated. Compared with the traditional capacitor switching type reactive power compensation device, the effect will be better.
(4) The switching of capacitors adopts various control strategies, and the switches can be: thyristors, composite switches or contactors.
(5) Using the Static Var Generator to control the switching switch of the capacitor bank can control reactive power generation and dynamic switching capacitors of SVG to achieve dynamic, high precision reactive power compensation according to the actual reactive power.
(6) According to the on-site reactive power situation, configure the capacity ratio of each unit: for large-capacity, fixed reactive power, configure switching capacitors for compensation; for small-capacity, fast-changing reactive power, configure the corresponding static var generator capacity for compensation.
(7) Various combinations between multiple units can be made according to the actual needs to achieve low cost and high effect.
(8) Each combination unit has a control strategy that works in coordination with each other, which can realize the safe operation of various combination methods to meet the user's needs to the greatest extent.
