Daqing Electric Power Group Distribution Network Energy Conservation Comprehensive Management Project
The distribution network of Daqing Power Group consists of 7 distribution stations, including Ranghulu, Longnan, Saltu, Dongfeng, Donghu, Honggang, and Chuangye. There are over 1000 transformers, with transformer capacities ranging from 125kVA to 2500kVA, mainly concentrated in levels of 315kVA, 400kVA, 630kVA, 800kVA, and 1000kVA. The transformer carries loads for residential, commercial, and municipal facilities, as well as a small number of industrial customers. Although many Electrical room are equipped with capacitor cabinets, the equipment may be damaged or not put into operation for various reasons, resulting in low power factor in some places. At the same time, with the current use of various electrical appliances, especially large-scale rectifier devices such as UPS and energy-saving LED lights, there are a large number of harmonics in the lines. Harmonics and reactive power not only increase line losses, but also increase the probability of damage to electrical equipment. Due to the characteristics of single-phase electricity consumption in commercial and small areas, there are also three-phase load imbalance sites in the lines, causing losses to the lines and transformers. Therefore, addressing power quality issues such as harmonics, reactive power compensation, and three-phase load imbalance in the distribution network has a huge space for energy conservation and consumption reduction, resulting in good social and economic benefits.
Project objective: To achieve comprehensive energy-saving management of distribution network transformers in Daqing Power Group, improve power supply quality, and achieve the goals of safe, stable operation, and energy-saving of the distribution network.
This project is aimed at the application of the latest hybrid distribution network energy-saving comprehensive treatment device for transformers in various substations. It adopts a configuration scheme that combines the distribution network energy-saving comprehensive treatment module with traditional reactive power compensation capacitors, with built-in switching capacitors or using capacitors from the original compensation cabinet to complete harmonic, imbalance, and reactive power compensation functions, and includes a capacitor control module. The device has a small volume and can achieve the best combination of price and effectiveness.
The distribution network energy-saving comprehensive management module and capacitors are placed in independent cabinets, which contain control units for capacitors; The entire system sampling is completed by the integrated module, and then the external capacitor switching is completed through the control signal.
This scheme has been widely promoted and applied in the distribution systems of State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company and Zhejiang Electric Power Company since 2010, with good on-site operation results and achieved good social and economic benefits.
