Capacitive reactive power
The reactive current of the load is generally inductive, so we can use capacitor bank to compensate it. However, the reactive power generated by loads such as UPS and charging pile is capacitive. Capacitor banks cannot compensate capacitive reactive power, so the latest reactive power compensation technology SVG Static var generator needs to be used to compensate capacitive reactive power
As there are many UPS and charging piles under the transformer shown above, the overall reactive power is capacitive, and the current distortion rate reaches about 30%. After installing our AHF, the power factor of the transformer is compensated to 0.99 and the grid harmonics are filtered.
