Background
The input terminals of switching power supply and ups of Chinatelecom cloud computing Guizhou Information Park data center generate harmonic current, and the final harmonic current is collected on the general busbar. A large amount of harmonic current will cause the following harm to the communication room.
Harmonic current will interfere with the communication signals of adjacent conductors;
The harmonic current in the power grid increases the total current, which is easy to lead to the misoperation of protection devices, resulting in work delay accidents;
Harmonics will reduce the stability and service life of equipment, cables, transformers and other equipment;
Harmonic current occupies the transformer capacity, which increases the load rate of the transformer and may cause transformer noise;
If the necessary harmonic control measures are not taken, it will bring serious harmonic pollution to the input power grid. In serious cases, it may also endanger the safe operation of the input power grid and various electrical equipment connected across the power grid.
Since there are a large number of ups in the data center, most of the reactive loads in the data center are capacitive. In view of the current situation of harmonics and reactive power in the data center, the Active Harmonic Filter is used to compensate harmonics, and the Static Var Generator is used to compensate inductive reactive power and capacitive reactive powerwithout over compensation or under compensation, which perfectly solves the problem of reactive power harmonics on site.
