
Health and Wellness at Work: Spine Care Week at Shanghai Campus
To help employees prioritize their health while managing demanding workloads, the Group Human Resources Department organized a special "Spine Quick Care" activity from August 11 to August 15 at our Shanghai campus. This week-long initiative invited external experts to guide and support employees in maintaining better spinal health. In total, 98 colleagues from six different business units participated in the program.
1. Knowledge Sharing
The event began with an inspiring session led by Mr. Qu, the founder of “Spine Hero.” He introduced the brand’s mission and culture, emphasizing its dedication to improving spinal health among professionals through fast, accurate, and stable health management solutions. Following this, wellness expert Teacher Zhengyuan gave a practical lecture on the importance of the spine to overall health. He highlighted common workplace habits that cause damage—such as crossing legs, using chairs with unsuitable height, and wearing high heels for long hours. He also encouraged employees to adopt healthier sitting habits, including keeping the back straight and using the front two-thirds of the chair for support.
2. Hands-On Experience
After the knowledge sessions, employees experienced personalized spine care. The expert team guided participants through a thorough process: filling in health forms, conducting instrument-based assessments, and receiving tailored explanations before the massage began. This careful preparation ensured that the massage focused on each individual’s specific areas of concern.
Spine Hero's professional therapists then provided targeted treatment using specialized techniques, focusing on the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions of the spine. Many employees reported feeling relief and increased awareness of how to protect their posture in daily life.
Looking Ahead
The "Spine Quick Care" activity successfully raised awareness about spinal health in the workplace. Beyond the immediate benefits, it encouraged employees to integrate healthier habits into their routines.
