Background

Hankook is a world famous tire brand from South Korea. Power Quality Problems

The field test data show that there are common problems of harmonic and reactive power in the field transformer. During the test, the load rate of most transformers is still low. When the load increases, the harmonic and reactive power problems will be more serious. Therefore, Active Harmonic Filter is used for treatment。

Technical Performance

The harmonic current of on-site load is mainly 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th harmonics. After being treated by 600A AHF Active Harmonic Filter, the distortion rate of harmonic current is reduced to less than 5% and the power factor is increased to 0.99.
